How do I set up my GBP named account?

You can create a GBP account in your own name to receive GBP deposits into your Cash Balance on Onboard.

To set it up:

1. From your app dashboard, tap Add (or tap View bank details) on your Cash balance
2. Select GBP
3. If prompted, complete any required verification steps (photo ID, and proof of income if applicable)
4. Confirm - your account details are generated in 1–2 minutes

Once set up, you'll have a UK bank account in your name with an account number, sort code, and IBAN.

Eligibility:

• You must be verified with a photo ID
• Users from certain countries may need to complete proof of income verification
• GBP accounts are not available in some countries — see Is Onboard available in my country? for details

Does it cost anything?

No, setting up your GBP account on Onboard is completely free.
