How do I set up my USD named account?
Your USD Account on Onboard gives you a US bank account in your own name, with routing and account numbers you can share with employers, clients, or platforms to receive USD payments.
Before you start:
- Your initial identity verification must be approved
- Your country must support this feature (not available everywhere - see Is Onboard available in my country?)
To set it up:
- From your Cash Balance screen, tap Add → USD (or View bank details **→ **USD)
- You'll be asked to provide some additional information, which may include:
- Your ID number
- Proof of address
- Source of funds / occupation
- How you plan to use the account
- Depending on how your initial verification was processed, you may also need to complete an additional verification step — you'll be guided through it in-app
- Once submitted, your application is reviewed

Once approved:
Your USD account details (routing number, account number) will be available in the app. Tap Add → USD (or View bank details **→ **USD) on your Cash balance to view them anytime. Share these with anyone who needs to pay you in USD.
All incoming funds settle into your Cash Balance as USD.
Supported payment rails: ACH and Fedwire only. International wire (SWIFT) is not yet supported but is coming soon.
