How can I add money to my virtual card?

Funding your card is super easy. Go to your card dashboard and click "Fund".

There are three ways to add funds to your card:

From a bank account (local currency):

Go to Cards → tap Fund on your card
Select your local currency (NGN, IDR, or KES)
Enter the amount you want to add
Send money to the bank details shown in the app
Tap I've paid — funds will reflect once confirmed

From an external crypto wallet:

Go to Cards → tap Fund on your card
Select USDT or USDC
Choose the network and send crypto to the address shown
Funds usually arrive within 5 minutes

From another Onboard balance:

Go to Cards → tap Move
Select the balance to move from (Cash, Trading Wallet, or another card)
Enter the amount and confirm — funds arrive in seconds

Funding fees:

Flex Card: 1.0%
Classic Card: 1.5%
Minimum: $1 | Maximum: $5,000 per transaction

What is InstantPay?

Can I withdraw money from my virtual card?

We know how important it is for you to have access to your funds, so we've made it easy for you to withdraw them whenever you need to.

There are two ways to withdraw funds from your card:

1. To another Onboard balance

On the Card dashboard, tap → Move → select destination (Cash/USD balance, Trading Wallet, another card)

2. To an external account (cash or crypto)

Card dashboard, tap More → Transfer → and then follow the Send flow.

Supported destinations include bank accounts (NGN, IDR, KES, UGX) and crypto wallets (USDT, USDC).

Important:

Card withdrawals are free
A minimum of $1 must remain on an active card
USD and EUR withdrawals aren't supported directly from cards — move funds to your Cash Balance first, then withdraw from there

For crypto withdrawals, remember to always double-check the network and wallet address for your transaction to avoid any losses. Unfortunately, we will not be able to recover any funds lost due to incorrect information.

Completing your KYC on Onboard Wallet

Accepted Answer

You can send, receive and swap crypto on Onboard Wallet, without completing KYC.

However, to buy and sell crypto with cash, we need to verify your identity. This is to ensure safe and secure peer-to-peer trades with other users on the platform.

To verify your account, you’ll need to provide a proof of ID (such as an international passport, driver’s license, or National ID), take a video selfie, and verify your phone number. Verification usually takes a few minutes, and we guarantee the security & privacy of your data.
