How do I verify my identity (KYC) on Onboard?
When you try to access any of Onboard's core features — funding, withdrawing, trading, or creating a card — you'll be prompted to verify your identity. It only takes a few minutes.
Steps:
- Enter your phone number and verify via OTP (SMS or WhatsApp)
- Enter your address
- Select your ID type - you'll be redirected to our verification provider
- Submit a photo of your document and take a live selfie. Make sure you're in a well-lit area with your face clearly visible. No glasses, hats, or masks.
What documents do I need to verify my identity?
You'll need a valid government-issued ID. Accepted documents include:
- Passport
- National ID card
- Driver's license
Note: The specific documents accepted may vary by country. Your country selection during signup determines which verification provider is used, and accepted ID types may differ accordingly.
Verification usually completes within seconds. In some cases, your submission may be routed to manual review, which can take longer. You can check your status anytime via the banner on your homepage.
