Where can I not use my Onboard Card? (Prohibited Use & Jurisdictions)

To keep our platform safe and compliant, certain countries and types of activity are restricted from using Onboard cards. Some restrictions come from our own policies, while others are required by our licensed card partners.

🌍 Country Restrictions

There are two types of country restrictions for Onboard cards:

  1. Countries where Onboard verification is not supported

If you're in one of these countries, you won't be able to verify your identity on Onboard, which means you can't access any Onboard features — including cards.

Afghanistan, Algeria, Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, China, Comoros, Congo (Democratic Republic), Congo (Republic), Cuba, Gambia, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Maldives, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Sao Tome and Principe, Serbia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Syria, Tajikistan, Togo, Tokelau, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United States, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Wallis and Futuna, Yemen, Zimbabwe

  1. Countries where only Classic Card is available

In the following countries, the Flex Card is not supported due to card partner restrictions. However, you can still create and use a Classic Card for online payments.

Cyprus, India, Israel, Montenegro, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Turkey, Vietnam

If you're in one of these countries and try to create a Flex Card, you'll see a "Card package not available" message. You can create a Classic Card instead.

This list may be updated from time to time based on changes in law or partner requirements.
