How do I secure my account?

Onboard offers several layers of security:

Passkeys (Recommended) — Uses your device biometrics for both login (skips email OTP) and authorizing withdrawals. Enable in Settings > Passkeys.

We recommend enabling passkeys for the best balance of security and convenience.

Passcode — A 6-digit code you set during signup, used to unlock the app. Manage in Settings.

Face ID / Touch ID — Enable device biometrics to skip entering your passcode. This is a convenience feature, not a passkey. Manage in Settings.

Phone OTP — Available for sensitive operations like withdrawals and DeFi wallet recovery as an alternative to passkeys.
