# What are passkeys and should I enable them?

Passkeys let you log in and authorize transactions using your device biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID, or equivalent) instead of email codes.

**Benefits:**
* Faster login — no waiting for email OTPs
* Secure withdrawals — biometric confirmation instead of codes
* Phishing-resistant — tied to your specific device

You'll first be prompted to enable passkeys on your next login after signup. You can also enable or manage them anytime in **Settings > Passkeys**.
