# How do I secure my account?

Onboard offers several layers of security:

**Passkeys (Recommended)** — Uses your device biometrics for both login (skips email OTP) and authorizing withdrawals. Enable in **Settings > Passkeys**.
| We recommend enabling **passkeys** for the best balance of security and convenience.

**Passcode** — A 6-digit code you set during signup, used to unlock the app. Manage in Settings.

**Face ID / Touch ID** — Enable device biometrics to skip entering your passcode. This is a convenience feature, not a passkey. Manage in Settings.

**Phone OTP** — Available for sensitive operations like withdrawals and DeFi wallet recovery as an alternative to passkeys.
