# How do I buy Bitcoin, Solana, etc on Onboard?

You can buy BTC using the **Trading Wallet** — Onboard's built-in crypto wallet. It's the simplest way to buy and hold crypto on the app, with no private keys or gas fees to worry about.

| **Note:** This guide uses BTC as an example, but the same steps work for any supported token - ETH, SOL, and more. Just select the token you want instead of BTC.

###### If you already have BTC in another wallet

Deposit directly into your Trading Wallet:

1. Open your Trading Wallet and tap **Add**
2. Select **BTC**
3. Select **External wallet**
4. Choose the network and send to the deposit address shown

###### If you have USDT or USDC in your Trading Wallet

Swap to BTC in a few taps.

*Option 1 — via Convert:*
1. Tap **Convert** in your Trading Wallet
2. Select **USD** as the source
3. Select **BTC** as the destination
4. Enter the amount and confirm

*Option 2 — via the BTC page:*
1. Open your Trading Wallet
2. Tap **BTC** in your Trading Wallet
3. Tap **Buy**
4. Enter the amount and complete the swap

###### If you'd like to buy with cash

You'll need to buy USDT or USDC first, then swap to BTC:

1. Open your Trading Wallet and tap **Add**
2. Select **USD**
3. Choose how you'd like to pay:
    * **Instant Pay** — Pay with local currency; completes automatically once your deposit is confirmed
    * **P2P Exchange** — Pay with local currency via a peer-to-peer merchant
    * **Onboard Pay** — Pay with EUR or USD to a dedicated bank account
5. Complete your purchase on the web interface you're redirected to
6. Once your USDT/USDC arrives, swap to BTC using either method above
