How do I add money to my USD account?
Funding your global USD account is easy. You can add money using multiple currencies like NGN, USD, EUR, and stablecoins for free.
Here’s a quick guide to help you pick the method that works best for you.
Before you begin
- Complete Basic KYC verification to access your USD wallet for funding via local currencies or stablecoins.
- Complete Advanced KYC verification to access your personal USD account details required for USD bank transfers and EUR deposits.
1. Add money via USD bank transfer (ACH/Wire)
(Requires Advanced Verification)
Steps
- On your Onboard app, go to Cash > Tap Add > Select USD.
- You’ll see your personal USD account details (account number, routing number). Copy these details.
- From your bank or payment platforms (Deel, Payoneer, Upwork, PayPal, clients), initiate a transfer using your USD account details.
- Your USD account will be funded once the transaction is confirmed.

2. Add money using your local currency
(e.g., NGN, IDR, varies by region)
Steps
- On your Onboard app, go to Cash > Tap Add > Select your local currency.
- Copy the account details shown and make a transfer from your bank app.
- Your USD balance will update as soon as the money arrives

3. Add money via EUR
(Requires Advanced Verification)
Steps
- On your Onboard app, go to Cash > Tap Add > Select EUR.
- Enter the amount you want to add in EUR
- You’ll see the USD equivalent and the conversion rate before proceeding.
- Follow the prompts and your USD account will be funded

4. Add money using USDT or USDC
Steps
- On your Onboard app, go to Cash > Tap Add > Select USDT or USDC.
- Choose the network you want to use (e.g., BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Polygon).
- Copy the deposit address displayed on your screen.
- Send the stablecoin from your external wallet to the copied address.
- Your USD account will be funded once the transaction is confirmed

Tips
- Always select the correct network when sending stablecoins.
- You will always see the real-time rate before completing any funding.
